Eastshore Alliance Fc’s Nyah Hartwell commits to diablo valley college

Eastshore Alliance FC is proud to recognize Nyah Hartwell on her commitment to Diablo Valley College, where she will continue both her academic and athletic journey as a collegiate soccer player.

A graduate of Albany High School, Hartwell made her mark as a dynamic winger whose work ethic, determination, and team-first mentality helped define her career. After years of dedication to the game, she has earned the opportunity to compete at the next level.

Hartwell's soccer journey began at the age of eight, and over the years she developed into a player known for her relentless effort and passion for the sport. Looking back, one of her favorite high school memories was helping Albany High earn a memorable victory over St. Mary's during her junior season, a moment she says will always stand out in her career.

Reflecting on her time with EAFC, Hartwell says the relationships she built are what she will cherish most.

"What I'll miss most about EAFC is making new friends, the fun practices after tournaments, and all of the coaches who helped me grow as both a player and a person," Hartwell said.

As she prepares for the next chapter at Diablo Valley College, Hartwell hopes her experience can inspire younger athletes to stay committed to their goals.

"Never give up and stick with it," she said. "There will be challenges along the way, but if you keep working hard and believe in yourself, it's worth it."

EAFC Grassroots Director of Coaching, John Tamrat, shared praise for Hartwell's dedication throughout her career.

"Nyah has been a tremendous example of perseverance, commitment, and character. She has consistently put in the work to improve and has always been a positive teammate. We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished and are excited to watch her continue her career at Diablo Valley College."
