Are you interested in making money as a soccer referee?

Sign up for one of Eastshore Alliance FC’s NEW REFEREE FIELD SESSIONS! No prior soccer experience required. All field sessions will be held at Gilman North Turf, 400 Gilman St., Berkeley.

SESSION 1: Saturday, February 17th, 12-3PM
(Registration closes Tuesday, February 13th)

SESSION 2: Saturday, February 24th, 12-3PM
(Registration closes Tuesday, February 20th)

  • There is a minimum number of people we need to hold each field session, so PLEASE TELL YOUR FRIENDS

  • There is also a risk that courses FILL UP FAST and there may not be space, so SIGN UP QUICKLY

  • All assignments must be completed before the field session (7-8 hours of work)

We develop referees to be leaders on and off the field.  Making quick decisions, giving assessments of other’s behavior and controlling dynamic situations are important leadership skills.

Referee Responsibilities

  • Keep control of the game by assessing player and coach behavior to guard player safety 

  • Discipline those who violate the Laws of the Game or specific league Rules of Competition

  • Keep the flow of the game going with limited interruptions

  • Earn $100 new referee bonus after 5 games
