City/Community: Albany
Current Occupation: Partnerships at Amazon (AWS)
Professional Background: David has almost 30 years of experience in business development and strategic partnerships across a range of technology markets. He brings a strong analytical and governance-focused perspective to the Board, with experience in financial oversight, partnership development, and long-term strategic planning. David is passionate about supporting youth development through well-run, sustainable programs that serve the entire community.
EAFC Connection: I previously served as President of the Board of Directors for Spurs FC, where I led the merger with Mavericks SC from the Spurs side. That merger resulted in the formation of Eastshore Alliance FC, and I have remained actively involved in supporting the club’s governance and long-term success.
Favorite Soccer Memory: Some of my favorite soccer memories are watching my son and daughter win tournaments and compete successfully in State Cup. Those moments as a parent are incredibly special. As an adult soccer player, I also loved the camaraderie of celebrating league championships with teammates, which reinforced how powerful shared goals and teamwork can be.
Favorite Team: USMNT, USWNT, and San Jose Earthquakes!
Fun Fact: I live near wine country and enjoy wine tasting. Always happy to discover a great new local vineyard.

Alex Nerguizian - Board Member
City/Community: Berkeley
Current Occupation: Self Employed Financial Capability Consultant
EAFC Connection: My 2 daughters play for Eastshore Alliance. My oldest has been with Eastshore/Spurs since 2019.
What Soccer Means to Me: Born and raised in Argentina, soccer is engraved in my identity. Yes, it’s. asport, but to leave it at that doesn’t explain the passion I feel for it. I can look back at my life and trace soccer throughout. Whether it is playing the beautiful game, following my teams, or now watching my 2 daughters in their journeys. Smiles, laughter, frustration, tears of happines/sadness, the emotional roller-coaster of experiences that the game has made me live through, are woven together beautifully into the story of my life.
Favorite Soccer Memory: Argentina winning the 2022 World Cup. My 2 daughters hugging me as I was uncontrollably crying through the penalty shootout. To this day, I get tears and lose my breath thinking about that last penalty shot.
Why I serve on the EAFC board: Because it’s the community we chose outside of family/friends and also because I want to support the soccer journeys and passion of the youth.
Favorite Team: Obviously, the Argentina National Team and Boca Juniors (no other fans in the world can come close to the passion that Boca fans show).
Fun Fact: I have a Messi and Maradona tattoo. And I own a food truck.

Current Occupation: Attorney
EAFC Connection: I coached for Mavericks for several years, joined the Mavericks Board and became President of Mavs in 2018, and played a key role in the Mavs/Spurs merger in 2023.
What Soccer Means to Me: I played soccer in high school and college, began coaching youth soccer when my son was 6 (nearly 30 years ago), and have been an active member of the Mavs and now Alliance boards since 2018. I love everything about the game of soccer, and firmly believe that kids benefit from playing in soccer in so many ways: physical conditioning, emotional growth and support, teamwork, hard work, respect for others.
Favorite Team: San Jose Earthquakes and USA
