EAFC Alum Koffy’e Chappel Named NACC Freshman of the Year!

Eastshore Alliance FC alum Koffy’e Chappel has been honored as the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Freshman of the Year for the 2025 women’s soccer season. Now starring at Concordia University Wisconsin, Chappel capped an outstanding debut collegiate campaign with one of the conference’s top individual awards. The NACC recognized her impact after she finished the season with an impressive 9 goals and 4 assists, totaling 22 points across 19 appearances.

Chappel’s dynamic offensive play made her a constant threat all season long. She led her team in shots (52) and shots on goal (34), and recorded multiple multi-goal games — including a hat trick against UW-Stevens Point, where she scored her first three collegiate goals and the game-winner. Her performance didn’t just stand out statistically — it helped elevate Concordia’s attack and earned her First Team All-Conference recognition alongside the Freshman of the Year honor.

This award highlights Koffy’e’s exceptional transition from youth soccer with EAFC to becoming one of the NACC’s most exciting newcomers. We couldn’t be prouder of her hard work, dedication, and the bright future ahead in collegiate soccer. Congratulations, Koffy’e!
