Eastshore Alliance FC Media Guidelines and Standards

At Eastshore Alliance FC (EAFC), we value the safety, privacy, and well-being of all our players and teams. As such, we have established the following guidelines and standards for the submission of photos and video footage:

• Consent and Permission:

• By registering with EAFC, all players and their parents/guardians grant explicit consent for the club to use their likeness in photographs, videos, or other digital media ("media content") for promotional purposes.

• This consent includes the right for EAFC to publish the media content in any and all of its publications, including newsletters, emails, web-based publications, and social media platforms, without payment or other consideration.

• It is understood and agreed that all media content will become the property of EAFC and will not be returned.

• Participants irrevocably authorize EAFC to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute the media content for any lawful purpose, without requiring further consent or approval.

• In cases where names are listed, only the participant's first name will be used, in compliance with the National Child Protection Act, to protect the privacy and safety of individuals.

• EAFC will make every reasonable effort to prevent unauthorized access to online information and will not be held liable for the accidental dissemination of information.

• Respect for Privacy:

• Avoid capturing or sharing images that may infringe upon the privacy of players or others, including intimate moments, sensitive personal information, or inappropriate behavior.

• Refrain from posting identifiable personal information such as home addresses, phone numbers, or email addresses in any media content.

• Appropriate Content:

• All submitted media content must be appropriate for all audiences, including children and families. Avoid sharing content that contains profanity, nudity, violence, or any form of discrimination.

• Photos and videos should focus on capturing the positive aspects of the game, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

• Quality and Composition:

• Submit high-quality photos and videos that are clear, well-lit, and properly composed.

• Ensure that the content is relevant and highlights the excitement and passion of soccer while showcasing the skills and achievements of the players and teams.

• Attribution and Credit:

• If you are NOT the original creator of the content, ensure that you have permission to share it and provide appropriate attribution or credit to the original source whenever possible.

• Safe Online Practices:

• Be mindful of the platforms and channels used to share media content. Use reputable and secure platforms to protect the privacy and safety of all individuals involved.

• Avoid sharing personal information or engaging in online interactions with unknown or unauthorized individuals.

• Compliance with Laws and Regulations:

• Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations, including copyright laws, when submitting or sharing media content. Do not infringe upon the rights of others or use copyrighted material without permission.

By adhering to these guidelines and standards, we can ensure that our media content reflects the values of EAFC and promotes a positive and inclusive environment for all our players, teams, and supporters.
